You can read my review of Book 1 Aftermath: A Story of Survival over here and I am FINALLY, only a few months late, sharing my thoughts on the 2nd book in the series.
Like book 1, this was a great read. I love this genre and I also love supporting new authors.
As with most self published authors there will be typos and maybe a few grammatical errors. I don’t feel there were so many that it took away from the story. There have been books I couldn’t finish because of there errors.
While I recommend reading book 1 first, this could be a stand alone.
Jimmy Walker is the main character in the series that takes place after IT happened. Basically the SHTF and they find themselves in a Post Apocalyptic world. They avoid the U.N., they overcome the local bandits, but now they have winter coming.
Like I said this is my favorite genre. Is it as good as Lights Out? I would say a strong 3 out of 5 stars.
I see lots of potential in the author and can’t wait to read more.
