Review Simply God

I had a request from our oldest for dried mango. These were $1 a piece at Costco.

We also did pears. We were cutting them by hand. Then decided to try my mandolin….Hazah! It worked! Much more efficient!

You can’t dehydrate without doing bananas!

I was going to vacuum seal these…uh they are being eaten faster than I could seal them.

We didn’t peal the fruit to save time. Some of the pieces were ok with the skin. Some, not so much. Even though the bananas weren’t anything like store bought they were still yummy!

I loved how the kids worked with me on this. One more step to self-sufficiency. I would say it counts as a life skill.Next on my to do list: homemade yogurt and also jerky!
