Freezing store bought tomato sauce? You don’t say. Yes, yes you can freeze store bought tomato sauce.
I buy my tomato sauce for tacos, spaghetti, and chili ect. in the Costco #10 size can.
Unless I am feeding an Army I don’t use all of the sauce in one meal.
I use Rubbermaid style containers to store the sauce. It would probably save space to use freezer bags.
This is how much I got from 2 #10 cans.
The 2 on the top right are a bit smaller than the other 5….still at $2.xx per can this isn’t a bad deal when you consider what one small can coasts.
I’ve tried canning my own sauce and tomatoes and it is still a work in progress.
I save the big cans to make rocket stoves with.
