Square Foot Garden update

a bit of dirt…I sadly calculated for 4 boxes   we have 8

so more dirt had to be purchased

love how it was a family affair…although oldest son wasn’t sure about it

nice thing about taking pictures….less work for me

this is what you do when you are done spreading dirt

Another day of gardening…just dirt and measuring

finally ready to plant!

THEN FINALLY….seeds were planted!

We only filled 5 of 6 boxes with dirt (for now) So I have two and each of my kids has 1.

We wrote down what was where to keep track

We also have last years old seeds and this years I ordered online….and 2 different mixes of dirt…long story there….so it will be interesting to see what grows best.

Of course we will be writing it all down.

Now I better really work at this gardening thing…especially with the money we have invested….next year won’t be so much money
