when you pick apples you get

Applesauce of course.

Yesterday we went to Greenbluff and picked apples and a few pears. Each was only .30 a pound! CHEAP!

Today the kids made a recipe I found on Crockpot365

Crockpot applesauce. Will let you know how it turned out later. It is cooking as I type.

For history we are studying Ancient Rome. So yesterday while at Winco we picked up a few spices for a recipe I found HERE. We will have it tonight with rice. We may even eat with our fingers as they did in the Ancient Roman times.
