I was NOT a meek person. Then I read Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit changed my life.
It opened my eyes to what affect I was having on my children. The example I was setting when I would lose it.
It wasn’t pretty people.
Other area’s I needed to work on….well….all of them.

Rather than being a pushover, a meek Christian is one who will not push over someone else. ~Reflections

Holy meekness means setting healthy boundaries for your life and, with the strength of God, asserting these boundaries so that others cannot overstep them unless you choose to allow it for a greater good~ ~Reflections

Those times when you really want to scream and yell at those that don’t see politics your way.
Those times when you really want to tell your hubbies buddy to-just-accept-the-gift-God-has-for-you-already.
Those times when your son shows you for the 10 thousandth time the air soft gun he has.to.have.

I still slip sometimes. I still lose it when they complain about doing spelling. But I recognize it so much faster. I make it right. We move on.
