Chicken Tractor
The AMAZING Principal built a chicken coop for our little brood.
It’s long…and has wheels (that you can’t see in this picture)
Putting on the door at the end.
Easy access to the roosting boxes
upper 3 boxes view from the top
inside where they can stay warm with removable floor
there is a ramp from this area
(which has a lift-able roof for easy cleaning)
out into the protected pen
The Principal and Emily worked 20+ hours together. Then Jesse took over for Emily for another 5 hours. Now we just have to paint it….Barn red and white of course.
More pictures to come of that and of the free entertainment…cats watching the chicks

VERY nice! We opted for a non-movable coop rather than a tractor but sometimes I wish we had one we could move around. 🙂 The nest box door you’ll mostly just use to collect eggs. We’ve had ours for 6 mos. and not had to clean it yet. They don’t poop in the nests! (Just EVERYWHERE else.) Put a removable board under their roost and it will make cleaning the indoor coop part a cinch for you (pull out the poop board, dump it in your garden, and put it back.) Your coop looks great! Are you loving those chickens? We adore ours!
