I am all about essential oils in my first aid kit. They have a long shelf life and are perfect for your Go Bag

These are my go to items:

CorrectX

Throw away that petroleum laden first aid ointment and use this! This multi-purpose, natural ointment helps soothe skin and keep it clean. Correct-X provides a moisture barrier that helps protect while simultaneously soothing and hydrating the skin. This petroleum-free, preservative-free ointment absorbs quickly and is gentle and non-irritating, making it ideal for sensitive skin. It also smells amazing. Yes, if the SHTF we won’t care about what is in our products, but the S hasn’t HTF so why not be proactive now.

On Guard Roller

Good for all things immune threatening. Roll this on the bottom of your feet to keep immune system strong. I roll it on my hands if I can’t find my hand sanitizer.

On Guard Hand Sanitizer

Lavender Roller

The lavender roller is two fold. Helps skin irritations and also calms nerves. . Keep Lavender Touch on hand to calm a restless child, to lessen the effects of minor skin irritations. Apply to the temples or back of the neck for a relaxing, calming effect. Rub on the bottoms of feet of a restless child before bedtime.

Tea Tree Roller

Use on occasional skin irritations by rubbing Tea Tree Touch onto affected area. Been hiking in wet socks? Use this handy roller between your toes.

Lemon

Lemon is a powerful cleansing agent that purifies the air and surfaces, and can be used as a non-toxic cleaner throughout the home. When added to water, Lemon provides a refreshing and healthy boost throughout the day. I wouldn’t use this for cleansing muddy water, but river water I would totally be comfortable drinking after adding 2-3 drops of lemon.

Balance

You may have your own SHTF situation going on. Balance is going to help calm you to help you think clearly. Spruce, one of the oils in dōTERRA Balance, was used by Native Americans for health and spiritual reasons and is still used today to bring harmony to the mind and body. Who wants to be out of their mind stressed in an emergency?

Helichrysum

Best known for its topical restorative properties. I love this one for abrasions and bridge of my nose.

I have so much more I want to share about how oils can be used in your preparedness plan.
