Keep the Family Healthy this Winter

Winter Wellness Tips

Prevention is key as we focus on quality of life. By prevention I don’t mean getting a flu shot and calling it good.

Prevention includes eating healthy, taking supplements, and little things like washing your hand or using hand spritzer.
We use On Guard foaming hand-wash at both our kitchen and bathroom sinks.
I don’t personally use store bought hand sanitizer. I feel that it kills the good and the bad germs.
I prefer using my homemade version.

I took this spritzer with me on 6 different airplanes in October. I sprayed my seat and my tray before sitting down on each plane. Not a single sniffle after all 6 flights.

I also used a roller of On Guard. I rubbed it on my feet every morning before putting my socks on and every evening when climbing into bed.

Hand Spritz Recipe:

4 ounce spray bottle, glass preferred
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
20 drops of On Guard

Stay Hydrated

Drink water with a drop of lemon or grapefruit in it.
Put about 1 drop of Lemon oil for every 8oz of water you and your family drink.
Over time this will greatly strengthen the immune system.

If you have taken precautions to prevent getting sick and you still find yourself losing the battle, try these recipes.
They won’t cure you, but they will support your immune system and recovery could be faster.

Respiratory Roller Blend

6 drops Melaleuca
6 drops Eucalyptus
6 drops Rosemary
6 drops Peppermint
5 drops Cypress
Apply to chest for relief.
Even better is our Breath Vapor Stick
Quick, convenient delivery system.
Provides a cooling, soothing effect both topically and aromatically.

Throat Irritation?

Nobody likes a scratchy throat.
We love the On Guard Throat Drops. They sooth the throat wonderfully at the same time as delivering some great immune support to your body.

Here is a roller bottle recipe. (These are brand I use) You can just roll this on your throat or the bottom of your feet for continued support.
