Uses for Lavender Essential Oil
What are some benefits of using Lavender Essential Oil?
I am pretty sure this list could be endless.
My personal experience has been as a sleep aid.
I combined this with a drop of lotion and rubbed it on the soles of my husbands feet.
Aside from him loving the foot rub and suggesting I do it every evening, he slept well.
Room Deodorizer
Lavender is great as a deodorizer. Add a few drops to a spray bottle of water and spray the room.
Sleep Aid
A couple of drops on the kids pillows will help them sleep like babies once again. Not the up every two hours kind.
Dry Skin
Suffer from dry skin during the winter? Add Lavender to your fragrance free lotion as a skin calming lotion.
Stress
Add to bath water to soak away stress or apply to the temples and the back of the neck
Pet Odor Eliminator
We just got a new puppy. A potty training puppy. Add Lavender essential oil to some baking soda and sprinkle on the carpet. Vacuum up and you’ll have the whole room smelling great.
Baking
Did you know you can bake with some quality brands of Lavender? Now, don’t go drinking a whole bottle, but a drop or two in your muffins totally makes them yummy.
