This curriculum wasn’t without eye rolls from my almost 13 year old and is 15 year old sister. The cover says recommended for ages 6-14.
It was a bit dated and the host was super energetic….hence the eye rolls.
That said….my almost 13 year old watched the ENTIRE DVD of Chemistry in one sitting. I would say the flames in one of the experiments didn’t hurt with holding his attention.

This is Christian curriculum. Although the host really only mentions how God created us and science proves it. He doesn’t go into a whole lot of detail about Creation.

From Library & Ed.

These episodes were originally produced for a religious television show.

Even kids who claim an aversion to science will be engaged by the high-energy science demonstrations of Ben Roy! Ben teaches science methods at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and is the former director of a science program on television. With this expertise, Ben captivates, motivates, and inspires students to be excited about science, while providing effective instruction based on science phenomena. Each spectacular demonstration of physical or chemical science has a spiritual application and points to our Creator!

More information about Ben Roy can be found on his website www.gosicencezone.com and Facebook.

Our opinion is that these DVD’s are for the under 10 crowd.

I received these videos free for my review. My opinions are my own and not of TOS
