I am not home.

I am in Seattle.

Yesterday I spent the day with my ‘BFF.’

‘Fun times’ are what you may be thinking.

We were in the Pediatric ICU waiting room.

Saturday her youngest son was in a dirt bike accident.

He is 16.

He will survive.

It will be a new normal. A new way of life.

The kind of life that doesn’t happen to people you know. That you love.

I am going to post links here.

I will add the one thing I am excited about is how God is going to use this tragedy and Nic in his future. Yes, Nic is down….but he won’t be broken. He is strong. He is an athlete. He may never play football again, but he still has a bright future! I love this boy as if he were my own. Please help if you can.
