Song

I have, in the past, participated in Lisa Jo’s Five Minute Friday.
Thought I would give it another try today.
Five minutes of writing…..no editing…just write.
Have you participated? Leave me a link in comments so I can come read yours!

Song
There’s a Song in my heart.
The Song of WORSHIP….
The feeling of undoneness when I really focus on you.
I mean REALLY
Song.
Not always the same Song that undoes me.
Sometimes it’s David Crowder….Oh How He Loves Me….
Sometimes it’s Matt Redman 10,000 Reasons….
I feel closer to you with a Song then any other time….even more that reading your words….
If I hear them I feel them. Truly feel them in my soul….
A Song deep down in my soul and I feel like you are next to me.
You speak to me through Song.

Love how he made us to worship!
RIGHT! Thanks for stopping by.
Oh, yes! He speaks to us through song. After all, he sings over us! Beautiful post! Visiting from Lisa-Jo’s.
Thank you for stopping by!
I’m so glad you joined FMF today! 🙂 I love those songs…my current song that really “undoes” me is Lord, I Need You. (Matt Maher) It’s amazing how He can speak through song. Love it. Thanks for sharing…blessings! 🙂
Thank you for sharing…hadn’t heard any of his music I don’t think. Great stuff.
YES! Matt Redmond gets me every time too. Love, love, love good worship.
Me too….Allume this year? I may have a full sponsor 🙂
I love 10,000 Reasons. I can’t get enough of that song lately. Have a great weekend!
You too, thank you for stopping by!
10,000 Reasons has been my song of choice lately. For a while it was Whom Shall I Fear? but here recently my heart is filled with “Bless the Lord Oh my soul!”
YES! I sat in my living room just Monday night and worship with tears STREAMING….was amazing!
Oh yes, I get this. I feel most close to God in worship, as I give myself to Him in song, and He sings over me. Have a beautiful weekend!
You too…thank you for stopping by!
So glad you are here, friend! This is so true for me too. I get lost in song and the words become my whole thoughts. Beautiful. Right now it’s most anything from Building 429 that changes my whole mindset.
Girl, those two songs get me every time!
Why, David Crowder had me crying in the shower just yesterday! I so get this…
Our spirit responds to His sonnet…it’s how I hear His voice clearly, anyway…what a gift.
So glad you joined in this week! {HUGS}
Beautiful, happy you came back. The fellowship and encouragement through the FMF blogs make your own five minutes so pure and special.
I love how God can speak to us through song. Absolutely amazing — it’s probably why Martin Luther was such a fan of music, and the Lutheran services sing everything 🙂 Happy FMF!
It’s amazing how song can bring us running back to HIM! I was driving along and heard the song “You Are” by Colton Dixon and was brought into His presence so quick. God loves music- in fact, another FMF blogger posted the scripture Zephaniah 3:17 talking about how GOD rejoices over US with song! I was in awe… HE sings for US.
