Sounds of Night app review
Sounds of Night app is geared towards kids ages 2-8. Yes, my youngest is 12. But I have friends who have little kids…and they have iPhones. Plus I love to review stuff! Here is a link to a QR code to purchase this very cute app.
The Sounds of Night is a book app that helps put a child’s mind at ease when the lights go out at bedtime. This book addresses one of the primary feelings young children face; fear. The Sounds of Night reinforces the principle that God is the Creator of every creature. Since God makes all the animals that scurry and screech at night, children can lie down and sleep in peace.
This app is quite cute! There are a few different way to use this app. It can read out-loud to your child or the child can read it themselves. It can also be auto read or your child can ‘turn the page’. Your child can also touch on an object in the picture, say on owl or a ball, and the app says what the object is.
Like this picture above. Train. Ball. Rug. Bed
75 touch-points in all
Seriously HOW COOL is this. Verses to ease your child’s mind
right before falling asleep!
This app is really cute! My first thought was, but when you are done with the ‘book’ then that is all there is. Well, then I remembered how many time we read Goodnight Moon! The added touch-points makes it a bit interactive. I think kids will like that aspect of it.
This app is $5.99 at iTunes only .99 on your Android. (lots of fun on my iPad just FYI)
There is a GRAND PRIZE Drawing for a $75 gift card to BEST BUY. To enter leave a comment on any of the blog hop hosts. (Yes…leaving one here counts as an entry)
I received this app free for my review and my opinions are my own
