I picked up my iPad to read this on Kindle. I thought oh, I will read a few pages and go to bed. HA! I haven’t ready a good SHTF book in awhile. Dare I say I read a chapter or two and never finish it. Sad because Post Apocalyptic and Dystopian are my top…
My name is Theo, and I’m a resident of Oasis, the last habitable area on Earth. It’s meant to be a paradise, a place where we are all content. Vulgarity, violence, insanity, and other ills are but a distant memory, and even death no longer plagues us. I was once content too, but now I’m…
When I was was given the chance to review The Survival Savvy Family by Julie at Home Ready Home I was super excited. I have read Julie’s blog for sometime and recently she has allowed me to ask a ton of questions about her neck of the woods. This book is not your “The world…
This is book 1 in the Perseid Collapse Post Apocalyptic series. You can also read my review of the prequel, The Jakarta Pandemic. I had started to read this and then saw there was a prequel. So, being the OCD’r that I am, I had to read The Jakarta Pandemic first, then came back to…
I saw on Facebook awhile back about the author, Steven Konkoly’s, book series going on sale on Amazon. I purchased The Perseid Collapse and began to read it right away. A few pages in and it dawned on me, this was actually book 2, well book 1, but there was a prequel. I then bought…
The Organic Canner written by Daisy Luther of The Organic Prepper I am a self taught canner. I have always had this perfect little daydream of being in the kitchen of the house my dad grew up in, in Northern Minnesota, with my grandma. Her teaching me all of her little tips on how to…

The Prepper’s Blueprint Layers of Protection Layer 1~Chapters 1-14 Prepare yourself for everyday disasters. Power outages, storms, that sort of thing. Layer 2~ Chapters 15-31 Medium effect disasters like pandemics or economic collapse Layer 3~…
Ron Foster does it again. Entertaining you, as well as educating you. I find myself taking notes as I read his books and Sharecropping the Apocalypse was no different. After a cyber attack and wide spread sabotage by terrorists took out the United States electrical grid one group of survivors found themselves far worse off…
Book 2 in a 4 book series, The Long Road picks up after The End. Again, I couldn’t put this one down and was a fairly quick read. One afternoon. If you aren’t already a prepper (you read my blog and don’t have at least water and TP stored?) you will wish you were. This…
If you are looking for a last minute Christmas gift then this is it! I don’t say this lightly when it comes to books. I read a lot and in the last 2 years have found I enjoy this Post Apocalyptic genre. While there a a few swear words, what book in this genre doesn’t…
