Traveling with Essential Oils
While you are reading this I am currently on a plane heading east. I am attending the Allume blog conference in Greenville, SC.
Something about traveling from my little corner of the country, that you might not know, is unless I am only going to Seattle or Denver I have to get on many planes to get to where I am going. I will have 2 layovers each way on this trip. A total of 26 hours of travel and 6 airports. YUCK!
Liquids need to be less than 3.4oz, which oils are, and fit in a quart size Ziploc bag. I can fit many bottles in a quart size bag.
I have made up a Protective Blend spray for hands. I may even spray it on my seat on the plane.
I will be using the Respiratory Blend so help with support airways that inevitably happens when on a plane fuh dayz. I am thankful that I only have 1 of the 6 flights longer than 2 hours. I think I am actually scheduled to spend more time in airports than on an actual flight.
Calming blend for take offs and landings. I don’t mind being in the air, it’s getting there that bothers me.
I will be taking the Digestive Blend along as well, because well, I don’t know about you, but anytime I am not in my routine my whole body gets out of sorts.
There are some good tips over at Aromatools if you want some more great ideas.
