Who is God
Who is God?
Well, He is the beginning and the end. The Alpha and the Omega. He is the great ‘I AM’. Indescribable. Holy. The lover of our souls. Almighty creator of you, the earth, stars, planets, and galaxies. He is HUGE! While we are tiny, oh so tiny in comparison. And this God who gives life and breathes stars LOVES YOU!
Have the these thoughts ever went through your head: “How could such a powerful and perfect God love ME? I have done, and do so many evil things. I have denied Him and even cursed Him. How could He possibly want anything to do with me?”
Well, He does. He wants everything to do with you. He has been passionately pursuing your heart since they day you were born and He will love you no less no matter what you do. Did you know He actually sings and rejoices over you?
The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.
Because Jesus gave His life for us on the cross, God sees us through Him, which is pure and clean from sin.
“Come now, let’s settle this,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.”
To God you are perfect and beautiful. You are His beloved child and He loves you more than you can possibly comprehend. Before the earth was made He knew your name, who you were, and has made incredible plans for your life. So incredible that you need Him in order to succeed them.
His arms are open for you to receive Him. But He can’t make you choose Him; you have free will. If He made us all love Him it wouldn’t be true love. Because what is love that is forced?
So as hungry as God is for you to come to Him for a relationship, so He can love on you and give you all that He has for you; He just waits. Arms open, heart exposed. Pleading for you to come to Him.
